"Experienced business people always have their leases reviewed by a commercial lease lawyer."
Why? Experience and common sense.
A commercial real estate lease agreement can contain many pitfalls for an unwary tenant. Buried within the lease language, in paragraphs of complicated "legalese", there can be provisions that increase your costs and prevent you from making full use of the property.
Real estate leasing agents can't advise on legal aspects of a lease. They will often warn tenants to have lease agreements reviewed by a commercial lease lawyer. They know "the devil is in the details."
To protect against unforeseen problems or expense, a careful review of your commercial lease agreement is essential. Whether a new lease, or due for option or renewal.
We can also help locate property, assess the market, and negotiate on your behalf. Potentially for significant savings.
